[01] COURSE INTRODUCTION

This course is designed to provide HR professionals, managers, and business leaders with a comprehensive understanding of managing a Human Resources (HR) department effectively. It covers strategic HR planning, talent management, compliance with employment laws, performance management, employee relations, and HR technology integration. NOR AINA KAMARUDDIN

HRD Corp Accreited Trainer, Senior HR Consultant

Nor Aina is an accomplished Human Resources practitioner with over 30 years of industry experience across leading multinational and local corporations. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Open University Malaysia and a Diploma in Accountancy from UiTM. Her professional certifications include the HRD Corp Certificate of Accreditation, Developer Learner & Facilitator credentials, and accreditation in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Aina is well-versed in the full spectrum of HR practices, from employment law and talent development to performance management and HR strategic planning.

Throughout her career, Aina has held senior leadership roles including Head of Human Resources for Allianz Partners in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, and HR Director roles at Electrolux Asia Pacific, BIMB Holdings, IBM Malaysia, and Celcom. She has been instrumental in driving HR transformation projects, leading talent development strategies, and aligning HR practices with organizational goals across diverse industries. Her corporate experience is backed by deep subject matter expertise, particularly in employment compliance, succession planning, and competency-based HR frameworks.

As a certified trainer, Aina has delivered impactful programs on topics such as the Employment Act and its amendments, domestic inquiry, performance management, HR for non-HR professionals, and behavioural-based interviewing. She is also actively involved in HR consulting projects, including employee handbook development, job evaluation, KPI crafting, and performance management system design.
