[01] INTRODUCTION

An organization whose place of work has 5 or more employees is obligated under the latest Laws to appoint an Occupational Safety and Health (“OSH”) Coordinator. 

This is a DOSH/ JKKP recognised competency training that trains you to be a qualified OSH Coordinator. 

 

[02] COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

• Develop an understanding of the purpose, objective and importance of OSH Coordinator in an organisation 

• Expose to the legal knowledge pertaining to be an OSH Coordinator 

• Understand the necessary know-how and techniques to perform duties as OSH Coordinator 

• Foster a safety culture in the workplace and assist the organization to be OSH compliant 

• Manage and maintain Occupational Safety and Health related documentation 

• Be confident in discharging the roles and responsibilities of an OSH Coordinator

Module 5: Introduction of Occupational Disease
