[01] COURSE INTRODUCTION

This is a 1-day programme specially tailored for participants who wish to enhance their understanding on the important key elements, procedures and legislation requirements on

Accident Investigation, Reporting and Prevention programme. Accident investigation, reporting and prevention is one of the mandatory requirement under NADOOPOD Regulations 2004.

It refers to specific practices and procedures to perform an investigation for each accidents happened in workplace, establish the route cause analysis, corrective actions for reoccurrence prevention and reporting to the management and authority for data compilation and further clarification.

Loss causation model also will be thought in this training to identify the root cause and definite impacts to the organization and working community.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:

• Define the requirement of Investigation & understanding the implementation.

• Describe the importance of incident / accident investigation.

• List and categorized the type of accident.

• Describe principles of investigation and loss causation model,

MOHD HALIM BIN HARON

HRDF Certified Trainer

MOHD HALIM BIN HARON graduated from Cyberjaya University College Of Medical Science (CUCMS) with Bachelor (Hons) in Occupational Safety & Health. He is also an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer since 2022. He held a Diploma in Security Management from Saito University College where he was the Best Student. He is also a Registered Safety & Health Officer and a Competent SHASSIC Assessor.

Mohd Halim has been a OSH Practitioner for more than 9 Years. He has served in various industries including Oil & Gas, Services, Manufacturing and Construction. He has held all levels of position in the Health, Safety & Environment, including heading the HSE Department as the Acting HSE Manager of one of largest heavy engineering and building construction companies for the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) project.

Throughout his involvement in the Health, Safety & Environment fields, his forte has been in Occupational Safety & Health Management, Risk Management, Incident Reporting & Investigation, Legal Requirements, ISO45001 Audit, Safety & Health Assessment System In Construction (SHASSIC) & Behavioral Based Safety.

He has gained experience and excellent OSH management skills and led process improvement in HSE in numerous projects. He is now sharing his knowledge and experience through trainings so more organization can achieve their OSH objectives & targets.
