[01] COURSE INTRODUCTION
The nature of human problem solving has been studied for the past hundred years by psychologists. The past few decades have seen business take much more of an interests in the processes some individuals apply to identify and implement the solutions to their problems. These processes or methods work for any kind of problem, large or small.
This workshop will offer you an overview of the entire creative problem solving process, it will also describe key problem solving tools that you can use in your day to day life.

• Recognise problems and understand the creative problem solving process
• Identify types of information to investigate and key questions to ask
• Write solid problem statements that clearly underlines the problem
• Identifying, removing mental blocks within the team to stimulate creativity in the generation of solutions
• Successfully utilise idea generating tools, such as fishbone diagram, brainstorming, brainwriting
• Developing a criterion to assess the solution to meet the needs and wants while considering the cost and benefits associated with each solution
• Perform final analysis or paired comparison analysis in selecting the optimal solution
• Identifying tasks and resources necessary to implement and monitor the progress of the solution
• Conduct post solution implementation checks to celebrate successes and identify improvement

VIGNESWARAN (VEE)

Vigneswaran Applasamy has been involved in lecturing, research, management, sales and training for more than 14 years in the field of Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing sector, Higher Education, Sales and Marketing. He has been upgraded to an HRD Corp Accredited
Trainer status from the previous Certified HRD Corp Trainer. In 2021, he was awarded the Certified Blockchain Expert by the prestigious Blockhain-Council (USA), Inbound Marketing Certified and Social Media Certified in Applying Inbound Social Media Strategy by HubSpot (USA) in addition to obtaining a Certification of completion for Blockchain for Business. Prior to this, he has been accredited by Harisson Assessment in Employee Development, completed Emotional Energy Management Trainer Course and attended Gamification and
