Financial statements are key financial summaries of a business entity which are generally prepared for statutory compliance whether it is for tax purposes or a requirement under the Companies Act. These statements together with other reports provide a wealth of information of a company and will enable the users to perform financial analysis.  Financial analysis (and valuation) is the process of evaluating a company or businesses, to determine their performance, condition, suitability, and valuation. Typically, financial analysis is used to analyse whether an entity is stable, solvent, liquid, or profitable enough to warrant an investment.
