The Ministry of Human Resources has proposed a list of amendments to the existing Employment Act and other related legislations that will be tabled at the coming parliamentary sessions. These amendments when passed will bring our legislations to be in line with international practices and to give a wider and better coverage for employees including protection of employment rights.

However, these amendments will have serious impact on employers in term of compliance and payroll costs which will affect overall business costs. Companies may even need to review their business strategies to cope with the legislative changes in an increasing challenging business environment. Employers and HR personnel need to get a first-hand understanding of these proposed changes and to know the impact and implications for their company and be prepared well ahead before these amendments become law.

This program will give participants a quick but comprehensive insight into the proposed changes and to know the implications as to be better prepared and to mitigate the impacts of such changes.
